Paolo Nutini, da Barga alla Scozia con la musica nel cuore

Italo-scozzese: suo padre, Alfredo, è originario di Barga, la madre è di Glasgow, dove la famiglia gestisce un negozio di Fish & Chips.

Barga, storico borgo della Garfagnana, ha una lunga tradizione di emigrati in Scozia e nel luglio del 2007 ha premiato Paolo con la medaglia d'oro di San Cristoforo, la maggiore onorificenza che il paese potesse tributargli, per celebrare il suo grande contributo nell’aver portato il nome di Barga nel mondo.

Autumn leaves under frozen souls,

Hungry hands turing soft and old,
